Tips for Fast Growth
Safe Lanes vs. Risk Lanes
Safe lanes are the areas with steady, smaller targets and clear escape routes. Risk lanes are crowded zones where bigger fish patrol. Early on, stay in safe lanes to build size without panic turns, then move into risk lanes only when you can win trades.
If the center is crowded, circle the edges and pick safe bites until you grow.
- Stay near the middle to keep escape routes open.
- Chain small eats instead of chasing risky targets.
- Use the edges only when the center is crowded.
- If a bigger fish is circling, change direction early.
Beginner Route (First 60 Seconds)
In the first minute, focus on safe bites. Pick the smallest targets in your lane, keep your movement smooth, and avoid sudden turns into the center. Once you reach a medium size, you can start cutting across for better targets.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Chasing a big target too early and getting trapped.
- Turning hard into the center when it is crowded.
- Ignoring escape routes near the edges.
- Over-correcting and zig-zagging into danger.
- Fighting a larger fish without enough size advantage.
Multiplayer Notes
Fish Eat Fish supports up to three players on one device. Player 1 uses WASD, Player 2 uses the arrow keys, and Player 3 uses the mouse. Coordinate early to avoid feeding each other and agree on lanes to reduce chaos.
